Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
Make use of leftover Halloween pumpkins to create this salty snack
Equipment
- Colander
Ingredients
- 1 large pumpkin
- 1/2 or 1 tsp salt depending on salt preference
- 1/2 cup warm water
Instructions
- Cut open pumpkin and remove the seeds.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Rinse the seeds in a spaghetti colander and spread them out on a baking sheet.
- Mix a saline solution with the salt and warm water and pour over the seeds in the pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and loosen and mix up the seeds.
- Bake again for 5-10 minutes until light golden brown.
