Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Make use of leftover Halloween pumpkins to create this salty snack

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large pumpkin
  • 1/2 or 1 tsp salt depending on salt preference
  • 1/2 cup warm water

Instructions
 

  • Cut open pumpkin and remove the seeds.
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Rinse the seeds in a spaghetti colander and spread them out on a baking sheet.
  • Mix a saline solution with the salt and warm water and pour over the seeds in the pan.
  • Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and loosen and mix up the seeds.
  • Bake again for 5-10 minutes until light golden brown.
