Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Make use of leftover Halloween pumpkins to create this salty snack

- 1 large pumpkin
- 1/2 or 1 tsp salt depending on salt preference
- 1/2 cup warm water
Cut open pumpkin and remove the seeds.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Rinse the seeds in a spaghetti colander and spread them out on a baking sheet.
Mix a saline solution with the salt and warm water and pour over the seeds in the pan.
Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and loosen and mix up the seeds.
Bake again for 5-10 minutes until light golden brown.
